Dr. Betting has led research efforts to enhance the medical understanding of key issues while providing advanced care to his patients. His research includes work with postmenopausal osteoporosis and chronic renal failure in patients receiving hemodialysis. A graduate of the University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences in Grand Forks, Dr. Betting completed his residency at the UND Center for Family Medicine in Bismarck. He then worked at St. Alexius Medical Center. Dr. Betting is a consultant for the North Dakota State Department of Human Services on a variety of issues, serves as an Assistant Professor at his alma mater and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, North Dakota Academy of Family Physicians and the Sixth District Medical Society. He enjoys snowboarding, volleyball, rollerblading, hockey and biking (on a two-wheel, no-engine model, thanks).
